VSC Training Course: Parallel debugging and profiling – enabling life-changing scientific discoveries with Allinea's tools


    Large scale numerical and data-driven computing provides competitive benefits to research groups and breakthroughs in science. Regardless of the scientific field, development and analysis tools are required to help HPC professionals, scientists and students reach the potential within their minds and within the HPC resources in their hands.

    Enabling developers and scientists to seamlessly fit software tools into their lives is the theme of this technical session. By looking at generic linear algebra applications, Allinea will demonstrate how its solutions enables developers to drill down into typical issues following development best practices:
    - how to pro-actively identify application problems?
    - how to quickly diagnose advanced technical problems?
    - how to resolve these problems?
